Wendy, there is real irony in the current "No Kings" theme that the Democrats have resurrected. The funny part is that they clearly missed the BIG picture for the little stuff. What you have described is the potential slide into feudalism with the government having ownership of corporations or industry in which a President then transforms into a King! I can see that more clearly now and don't like it one bit. Guess the question raised about what difference does it make whether the industry owns the government or the government owns the industry because no matter, the results work out pretty much the same either way; you will always be somebodies serf or slave. I think we have a better chance with industry since they cannot print money, jail people or send them into war. I know this is not absolute but the odds appear better with industry. Also completely agree with the sentiment expressed by Rob that too many folks are penny wise and pound foolish which explains the state of financial peril people have put themselves in today. Wendy, I also know you try to leave politics out of your writings but sometimes, uninvited it will intrude and you need to call it as you see it. You can count me as a disillusioned Trump supporter and there is a painful lesson learned in that alone.
