Great post. The video at the end of Shahid Bolson was very much worth the 32 minutes, but the plug for Islam at the end left me feeling like I’d just listened to the most amazing video revealing the key to health and longevity, followed by “and that’s why we created the last nutritional supplement you’ll ever need. Operators are standing by”.
Ha Ha. I felt the exact same way. And another reader commented similar. I guess I should’ve warned people. Like you, I am not interested in converting to Islam. So I had to make a judgement call. Would I be like the government and stop the spread of his otherwise excellent message because of that one thing we didn't agree on? Or would I just let my readers use their own minds and hearts to sort it out? I decided on the later: free speech. We don't have to agree with everything someone does or says in order to hear them or learn from them. I'm capable, as are my readers, to discern, take what I find valuable and leave the rest behind.
Thank you Wendy; fantastic post. And thanks for the links, but do you realize the troubled past Shahid Bolsen has? His presentation you linked was excellent; he seems right about everything...until he provides his prescription to our (US) problem. He suggests the solution is to convert to Islam. Of course! That wonderful religion that believes in honor killing, pedophilia and rape, child brides, animal cruelty. Were you aware of this philosophy? Is this what you are advocating? Particularly pertinent as we see Muslim communities popping up all over the US. Look at current Europe. Is this how we solve our problem?

So funny.. For the last ten/twenty years… I’ve been so worried for our country. I would read everything that Republicans and Democrats put out there.
Now, I don’t give a fuck. I’ve backed off listening to most of what is being shoved down our throats. The new pod casters like Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, are so obviously CIA stooges that they end up getting on my nerves.
The new go to for these people is that they are being targeted and canceled just like Trump. That way you’ll trust them. They tell us BS that has been out for years, and pretend that they didn’t know..
So, screw um all. Best to concentrate on yourself first. Get healthy. Get off the ultra processed foodies and sugar. Get off the couch and off your cell phones. Quit smoking and drinking BS.
Enjoy a cup of coffee with your neighbors. Get a good nights sleep.
And absolutely forget about what is going to happen. We can’t stop it. We never could.
