Julius Caesar, like Jesus looked to get rid of the iron grip of debt. That's why when he was assassinated, they flipped the story and called him a dictator. The irony is that those who assassinated them were the money changers pretending to be the good guys.

I highly recommend watching this documentary where a priest and a linguist separately found that a lot of what Caesar said was very close to what Jesus said.

Another tour de force. No one says it better or with such clarity. Even the artwork is stellar.

A system founded on parasitism cannot last forever; eventually the host dies. In the financial realm, this usually takes the form of hyperinflation or crushing deflation. When peons are worked to death, all debts become worthless. On the way down, social strife and desperation will be manufactured. Urban violence will become pandemic. Redemption and rebirth will then begin in rural areas, villages, and small towns; all places where low population density enables real relationships to arise once again.

In the movie The War of the Worlds; at the darkest hour, common folk once again congregated in churches and placed their faith in God. Sadly, this may be our only path to salvation.
